PUBLIC HEARING
 
The City of Tracy Development Services Department will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 3, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, in Conference Room 120 of Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, to consider:
 
D19-0003: The applicant is Frank Schubert and the property owner is the City of Tracy – 9251 W. Arbor Avenue – Public hearing to consider an application for a Development Review Permit to construct an approximately 550,000 gallon per day (gpd) desalination plant, which would remove salt from treated effluent at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant to a quality level suitable for discharge into the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta. The project is located east of Holly Drive on approximately 5 acres in the northern portion of a 17-acre parcel at 9251 W. Arbor Avenue (Assessor’s Parcel Number 212-160-11). The project is consistent with the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Tracy Desalination and Green Energy Project, which was approved by City Council on May 1, 2012 (Resolution No. 2012-075), and the Addendum to the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration dated September 2012, in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) and the CEQA Guidelines. The Project Planner is Scott Claar, Senior Planner (209)831-6429, Scott.Claar@cityoftracy.org.
 
All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
 
Should you decide to challenge the decision of the Development Services Department, you may be limited to those issues that were raised for consideration at the hearing.
