Corral Hollow Road Widening Project Completion

Posted: Feb 6, 2018
Location: Tracy, Calif.

The Corral Hollow Road Widening Project is scheduled to be fully completed on Monday, February 12, 2018. The project, which began on May 31, 2017, includes the widening of North Corral Hollow Road, between Grant Line and Byron Roads, from four lanes to six lanes, and the upgrade of existing sanitary sewer pipelines between Fieldview Drive and I-205.

“After nine months of construction, we’re excited to fully re-open North Corral Hollow Road,” stated Senior Civil Engineer, Paul Verma. “Expanding this stretch of road from four to six lanes will improve traffic flow, safety, and drive times for motorists.”

The Corral Hollow Road Widening Project was completed below its $9.2-million budget, and within the project timeline and specifications. During the first week of March, the City will perform traffic counts on Corral Hollow Road, between Grant Line and Byron Roads, in order to program the traffic signals in the area accordingly.

The Corral Hollow Road Widening project stretches 1 mile, and is one of approximately 25 infrastructure improvement projects currently taking place in Tracy.
