            The Tracy City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon after as possible, in the Tracy City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, to consider the following:
Approval of a Sales Tax Sharing Agreement Public hearing to consider a Sales Tax Sharing Agreement between the City of Tracy and Fisher Scientific Company, L.L.C as part of the City’s Office and Industrial Incentive Program. The request is to be based on taxable sales generated from a new distribution center located within the city limits of Tracy. City Council findings will be consistent with California Government Code Section 53083 and 53084.5. Shelley Burcham, Economic Development Manager, is facilitating this Agreement: (209)831-6493.  
Introduce Shopping Cart Ordinance – Public hearing to introduce an Ordinance amending Chapter 6.24, Abandoned Shopping Carts, of the Tracy Municipal Code to add language to deter the abandonment of shopping carts in the City of Tracy, including requiring retail stores with 25 or more shopping carts to submit a shopping cart retrieval plan and other technical changes.
SPA17-0004: Applicant and property owner is 51 NEWCO, LLC – Public hearing to consider introduction of an ordinance amending the I-205 Corridor Specific Plan to create a new land use designation of General Commercial 2 and change the land use designation from General Commercial to General Commercial 2 for the property located at 1005 E. Pescadero Avenue (Assessor’s Parcel Number 213-060-40). The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15183. The Project Planner is Scott Claar, Senior Planner, (209)831-6429.
            All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
