            The Tracy City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon after as possible, in the Tracy City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, to consider the following:
FOUR-STORY, HOME2 SUITES HOTEL AND AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATION FROM OFFICE TO COMMERCIAL AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF GRANT LINE ROAD AND CORRAL HOLLOW ROAD – The proposal is to develop a four-story, 94-room, Home2 Suites Hotel (Development Review Application Number D16-0029) at the northwest corner of Grant Line Road and Corral Hollow Road (Assessor’s Parcel Numbers 214-020-34 and 35). The proposal includes a request to amend the General Plan Map designation (Application Number GPA16-0004) for the eastern 1.9 acres of the project site from Office to Commercial. A Negative Declaration has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines and is proposed for adoption. On March 22, 2017, the City of Tracy Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and, by a vote of 5-0, recommended approval of the project. The applicant is Clover Hotel Partners, LP. The project planner is Alan Bell, Senior Planner, alan.bell@ci.tracy.ca.us or (209) 831-6426.
            All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
            Should you decide to challenge the decision of the City Council, you may be limited to those issues that were raised for consideration at the hearing.
