01 25 17 PC Public Hearing

            The City of Tracy Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon after as possible, in the Tracy City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, to consider the following:

FOUR-STORY, MARRIOTT TOWNEPLACE HOTEL AND SUITES AND AMENDMENT TO THE I-205 CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN MAXIMUM FLOOR AREA RATIO SITING REQUIREMENT – The proposal is to develop a four-story, Marriott Towneplace Hotel and Suites (Application Number D16-0022) on approximately 2.7 acres on the east side of MacArthur Drive and south side of Interstate 205, north of existing Chevron Service Station (APN’s: 213-060-37, 38, and 39). The project includes a request to amend the maximum allowed floor area ratio requirement within the I-205 Corridor Specific Plan area (Application Number SPA17-0001), within which this project site is located. The project is consistent with the development density established by the City of Tracy General Plan and the I-205 Corridor Specific Plan for which Environmental Impact Reports were certified by the Tracy City Council. Therefore, in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15183, no additional environmental review is required. The applicant is Arvind S.             All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
