Grant Line Road Widening Improvement

This is to advise you that sealed bid proposals for the
CIP 73048, 75046, 76028, 76036, 72PP070, 72PP040, and 72025
will be accepted by the City of Tracy, at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall Second Floor, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, California 95376, until:
Thursday, March 14, 2013 @ 2:00 PM
The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes widening of Grant Line Road and associated civil and utility improvements. In general it includes but not limited to widening and reconstruction of existing Grant Line Road from two lanes roadway to six lane roadway in the major portion of the segment from east of Mac Arthur Drive to East City Limits ( approx. 7300 LF) . These improvements includes but not limited to demolition of existing roadway and utilities to accommodate widening and reconstruction of new roadway segment with curb, gutter sidewalk, median island, street lights, utilities, traffic signals, landscaping, signing and striping. The installation of storm drainage system, waterlines, sewer system and other utilities including its appurtenances such as laterals, manholes, valves, fire hydrants, inlets, monuments etc. The project also includes installation of sewer lift station, irrigation pump station and its associated equipment and appurtenances. In addition the project consist of installation of two new traffic signals, modification of two existing traffic signals, flashers and fiber interconnect system that connects from east city limits to traffic signal at Mac Arthur Drive. Also project includes construction of storm drainage channel and culverts to connect the storm drainage system from roadway to the channel.
The Engineer’s estimate will not be released until the bids are publicly opened. A Class A, General Engineering Contractor’s License is required for this work.
Bids are required for the entire work as described herein, and shall be made upon the Bid Forms included in the attached Bid Documents in accordance with the Notice to Bidders. Bid Documents and Addendums shall be placed on the City Website at www.ci.tracy.ca.us. shall be downloaded and printed for submittal of Bids. Hard copies of the construction documents are not available at the Office of Director for sale. For technical questions, please call, at (209)831-6460.
