CITY OF TRACY OFFERS FREE BUS RIDES FOR STUDENTS

Transportation options for the 2020-2021 School Year

Posted: Mar 25, 2021
Location: Tracy, Ca

The City of Tracy is excited to welcome students back to the TRACER Public Transit System as in-person classroom instruction resumes within our community. Effective March 29, 2021, students may ride for free on any TRACER Fixed Route bus. In addition, Commuter Routes E, F and G will be operating on a modified schedule Monday through Friday (when school is in session), giving students even more transportation options to get to and from school for the remainder of the 2020 - 2021 school year. The Modified Commuter Route schedule and regular fixed route schedule can be viewed at www.ridetracer.com. In accordance with public health regulations, TRACER requires face masks to be worn by all passengers and drivers while on the bus and while waiting at the Tracy Transit Station. All TRACER buses are ADA accessible and equipped with bicycle racks for the convenience of our riders. The TRACER Fixed Route Service connects riders to places like Downtown Tracy, Shops at Northgate Village, West Valley Mall, Walmart, Tracy medical facilities, and most Tracy middle and high schools. For more information on transit services, please visit RideTracer.com or call (209) 831-4BUS for brochures and travel plan assistance.

Enclosed: TRACER Route Map and Modified Commuter Route.
