SLUDGE DEWATERING CENTRIFUGE RENTAL

 

AT THE CITY OF TRACY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter “CITY”) requests proposals from qualified CONTRACTORs for the rental of a wastewater sludge dewatering centrifuge.

The City of Tracy is currently designing and expanding its sludge dewatering at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Until the expansion is completed the City is in need of a temporary sludge dewatering centrifuge.  Proposals are invited from qualified providers of dewatering centrifuges.  The centrifuge will comply with the requirements of the specifications listed in the attached agreement and will be delivered, installed and maintained by the CONTRACTOR.  The installation shall be completed and the centrifuge must be operational by September 1, 2020.  The proposer must visit the site and inspect the installation site before submitting the proposal to the City by contacting and scheduling an appointment with Tim Dorstad, the Acting WWTP Operations Superintendent at 209-831-6328. 

 

The Contractor will propose a flat monthly rate to the City for rental and maintenance of the centrifuge and may provide an option to purchase by the City at the end of the rental period.  During the rental period, the Contractor will be responsible to maintain and keep the centrifuge in operational condition.

 

The selected supplier will enter in to the attached agreement with the City.  The City reserves the right to reject any proposal.

 

The proposals are due in the office of the Director of Utilities Department, City of Tracy Attention Kuldeep Sharma on or before June 10, 2020 by 2:00 p.m.
