Friday Night Facebook Live Music with Carl Wockner

Presented by the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts

Posted: Apr 23, 2020
Location: Tracy, Calif.

Do you want to enjoy a LIVE PERFORMANCE right from the comfort of your home? Join us on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 6:30 PM for 30 minutes of LIVE entertainment from Carl Wockner on Facebook Live, presented by the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts.

Determined to pave his own path in modern music – Wockner uses multi-instrumentalism and dynamic production to take listeners on a journey through multiple genres and sonic excitement, all while telling a story.

Carl Wockner was named the first and ONLY Australian artist to ever win Top Honors at the International Acoustic Music Award’s in 2015 (USA), along with top of the AAA category for the release of his album Crayon Days with producer Michael Flanders in Nashville, Tennessee. Wockner skipped up the charts with his first two single releases, receiving high rotation on national radio in both Australia and America, which landed the title track on the International Billboard Charts. The same album received an Independent Music Awards Finalist nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album in 2016. It was following this recent success that Wockner relocated his family to Nashville, Tennessee as a strategic move for his evolving career.

In September of 2019, Carl was featured for an entire episode of “Backstage Marquee,” a syndicate show aired across American featuring original artists set to be “the next big thing.”  In September of the previous year, Wockner performed LIVE on American television. “The Weekend Express” segment on the HLN show on the CNN Network, featured Carl’s original songwriting and performance as a showcase taste of Nashville/Music City.

His rare “Live Looping” style solo performance, matched only with his signature vocals and unique acoustic guitar work, renders Carl Wockner in a league of his own. The live shows have been recognized throughout Australia and the USA with multiple headliner performances at festivals and tours, and Wockner is now rumored as one of the busiest musicians in Nashville, aka “Music City.”

There is something about Carl Wockner’s music that simply exudes peace. The peace you feel when you’re humming along to a nostalgic track, or the peace you feel when you just know everything’s going to be ok. However you connect with Carl’s music, you would agree this he is definitely onto something.
