The City of Tracy’s Draft Downtown Specific Plan is now available for public review. The proposed Specific Plan would be incorporated into the City’s Zoning Ordinance and would serve as the zoning for all properties within the Specific Plan Area.

The City of Tracy has prepared a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) for a General Plan Amendment, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). As required by law, the City is providing this Notice of Availability of the Draft SEIR.

The Draft City of Tracy General Plan was released for public review on April 22, 2009. The Draft SEIR was released for public review on April 22, 2009.

The Draft General Plan Amendment and Draft SEIR are available on the City’s web site (www.ci.tracy.ca.us), at the City of Tracy Department of Development and Engineering Services at 333 Civic Center Plaza, and at the Tracy Public Library at 20 E Eaton Avenue, Tracy, CA 95376. A public hearing, as described below, will be held as required by State law.

The State of the City Address will be held on March 24th, 2009, at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts. Mayor Brent Ives will speak on the current issues facing the City of Tracy, as well as the accomplishments of the past year.
