Grants for Artists

Tracy Arts Commission is committed to nurturing artistic vision, honoring diversity, supporting creativity and promoting cooperative partnerships in all facets of the arts.

Projects submitted for funding should be broad based. They may be experimental or innovative in nature, and include new groups or new ways to allow for collaborative or participatory activities. Implementation of the program will encourage greater community involvement in the arts, promote interaction between professional artists and the public, and foster communications and connections that transcend generational and cultural barriers.

Two (2) organizational grants are for local Tracy based organizations that have a board impact on the community through cultural arts activities. Activities may include outreach, education, and collaborations.

Three (3) Mini-grants for individual artists and small or emerging cultural arts organizations (less than three (3) years in operation).
