Youth Advisory Commission
| Established By | City Council Resolution 98-191, June 16,1998 | | Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements | The Youth Advisory Commission shall include a minimum of eleven (11) youth commissioners. Youth Commissioners shall be ages 12 to 17 years and/or attending a school in grades 6–12. The youth may be within the jurisdiction of any school district within the City's Urban Management Plan Area. Young people attending private and home school may qualify to serve on YAC. | | Adult Commissioner Eligibility | The Youth Advisory Commission shall include a minimum of three (3) adult commissioners. The adult commissioners shall reside within the jurisdiction of any school district with the City's Urban Management Plan Area, consisting of: - One (1) Commissioner who is a memeber of the School District.
- Two (2) Commissioners who are community members who desire to workwith youth.
| | Term | Each commissioner shall serve a two (2) year term and may server no more than two (2) terms for a total of four (4) years. Two (2) adult members shall serve a two (2) year term, initially, and one (1) adult shall serve a one (1) year term.
