San Joaquin County Mosquito Abatement District

Established By State of California, Department of Health Services, State Health and Safety Code, Chapters 5 and 6 of Division 3
Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements One member appointed to serve at the pleasure of City Council.
Term The term of office shall be two years or four years, at the discretion of City Council.
Compensation None
Duties Take all necessary steps for the extermination of mosquitoes and abatement of their breeding places throughout the District, while conforming to all California Government Codes applicable to public agencies. Board is primarily the overall policy-making body for the District and sets its goals and objectives.
Meeting Date and Location The Tuesday immediately preceding the 20th of each month
