| Established By | State of California Statutes; Tracy Municipal Code, Chapter 10.04 | | Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements | The City of Tracy Planning Commission shall consist of five members appointed by the City Council. The members shall be residents, not officials or employees of the City. | | Term | Four-year terms, at the pleasure of the City Council. | | Compensation | $50 per meeting, not to exceed $150 per month, actual and necessary expenses for out-of-town meetings and conferences. | | Duties | Prepare and recommend adoption, amendment or repeal of the City's General Plan; make recommendations to the proper City officials regarding maps or plats of land subdivision in accordance with State Subdivision Map Act and City Code; hold hearings on planning and zoning matters per State and City laws; advise and recommend regarding acquisition, use, or disposition of City-owned property. | | Meeting Date and Location | Second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm, Council Chambers, Community Center, 300 East Tenth Street.
