Parks and Community Services Commission

Established By Tracy Municipal Code Section7.16
Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements Seven members, six of whom shall be appointed by City Council, each term to commence the first day of January. The members shall be citizens, but not City officials or employees and must reside within the Tracy city limits. One member shall be appointed by the Tracy School District; said term to commence the first day of January.
Term Four years. Vacancies occurring during a term shall be filled for the unexpired period of term.
Compensation $50 per meeting; not to exceed $100 per month
Duties Establish rules and regulations governing the conduct of recreation programs, protection of property, and activities of persons in all parks; hold public hearings on recreation programming and facility usage; advise the City Council on the subject of recreation and facility master planning and development; review grants.
Meeting Date and Location First Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, Tracy Sports Complex, 955 Crossroads Drive.
