Building Board of Appeals
| Established By | Tracy Municipal Code, Chapter9.44 | | Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements | Five members appointed by the City Council: - One professional engineer or architect.
- Two licensed contractors.
- Two lay community members.
A member shall be neither an elected officer nor an employee of theCity. | | Term | Four years with staggered terms. Vacancies occurring during a termshall be filled for the unexpired period of term. | | Compensation | None | | Duties | To hear appeals of administrative decisions regarding use ofalternative materials, interpretations pertaining to enforcement of anyprovision of the Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Codes and related regulations of the City.
