Notice of Availability - Downtown Specific Plan

The City of Tracy’s Draft Downtown Specific Plan is now available for public review. The proposed Specific Plan would be incorporated into the City’s Zoning Ordinance and would serve as the zoning for all properties within the Specific Plan Area.

The proposed Specific Plan is based on a series of five Community Workshops that were conducted within the past three years. A Draft Environmental Impact Report is being prepared for public review and is expected to be published in May 2009. The public hearings to consider adoption of the Specific Plan and certification of the Final EIR are expected to occur in August/September 2009.

The Draft Specific Plan is also available for viewing at the City of Tracy’s Development and Engineering Services Department, 333 Civic Center Plaza and the Tracy Branch Library, 20 E. Eaton Avenue.
