Mountain House
Mountain House is a planned community located approximately 5 miles northwest of the City of Tracy. Trimark Communities, LLC, the developer of Mountain House, obtained County approval for the new town in 1994. On July 4th, 2003 the first resident moved in with fire protection being provided by the South County Fire Authority.
The Mountain House Community Services District contracts for fire protection services with Tracy Rural Fire Protection District. The land for the new town, which had been used primarily for agriculture, was originally part of the Tracy Rural Fire Protection District. In July 2003 the personnel from Tracy Rural Station 95, at Linne Rd., were relocated to staff the new Mountain House fire engine. On December 12, 2005 the town of Mountain House opened its first fire station.
