Professional Standards

The Professional Standards Unit is the primary source of Police Department related information for the media. The Unit is responsible for providing timely and accurate information to all media outlets, and coordinating requests for information between the media and Police Department Personnel.

The Professional Standards Unit is also responsible for investigating allegations of misconduct by Tracy Police Department personnel. The Unit reports to the Special Operations Division Commander.
