Youth Advisory Commission

Membership, Qualifications and Residency Requirements | The Youth Advisory Commission shall consist of a minimum of 8 members and a maximum of 14; to include two representatives from each high school in the Tracy area. Youth Commissioners shall be ages 14 to 18 years and/or attending a school in grades 9-12. The youth may reside within the jurisdiction of any school district within the City’s Urban Management Plan Area.Application |

Term | Each commissioner shall serve a two (2) year term and may server no more than two (2) terms for a total of four (4) years. Two (2) adult members shall serve a two (2) year term, initially, and one (1) adult shall serve a one (1) year term. Thereafter, each adult shall serve a two (2) year term and may server no more than two (2) consecutive terms for a total of four (4) years. |

Duties | To provide youth with an opportunity to make recommendations to staff, the Parks and Community Services Commission, City Council and other groups on matters related to the welfare of youth in Tracy. |
