Homicide Update - Four Arrested

TRACY HOMICIDE UPDATE

(Tracy, CA) – On February 4, 2012 at 1:05 AM, Tracy patrol units were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the area of Walnut and 11^th Streets. There, 23 year old Jose Anthony Sosa, Jr. was found with multiple gun-shot wounds. He died from his wounds at the scene.

As the call was being broadcast, a Tracy patrol unit in the area observed a black two door vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed. An investigative stop was conducted and three adults and one juvenile were detained and later arrested for murder.

Samuel Inguanzo, 18, of Tracy along with Stockton residents Manuel Pelayo, 19 and Rosendo Vidaca, 26, will be booked on homicide charges into the San Joaquin County Jail. A seventeen year-old juvenile from Stockton was booked into Juvenile Hall and also charged with homicide.

The shooting has been classified as gang related, and it's the first homicide in the City of Tracy since late in 2010.
