Lolly Hansen Senior Center

The Lolly Hansen Senior Center offers a wide variety of classes, activities, special events and social service programs to anyone 50+. The senior center is an active place with a positive atmosphere. Our focus is on health and wellness programs, instilling healthy habits and enhanced lifestyle opportunities. Our programs support today’s active seniors and strive to improve the health and well-being of all community seniors.

NEW Classes

NEW Senior Link – Tracy
Do you need help finding services that are available to you? Then come to the Senior Center to meet our Senior Link Specialist. The Senior Link Specialist will be available to assist you in living a full, vibrant and independent life with access to information, local agencies and service providers. Appointments are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. For more information, or to arrange an appointment, please call (209) 831-4230

NEW Senior Tai Chi
Wednesday’s from 3pm to 4pm
Cost: $20 per month
Tai Chi helps reduce stress, increases relaxation and improves overall wellness. You will learn a series of gentle fluid movements through challenging but gentle postures. Good for seniors with arthritis or diabetes. Please get a doctor’s approval before taking a class. Low impact. No Class 4/8.

NEW Open Studio
1st & 3rd Monday of the month from 9am to 11am
Take this time to work on your projects, this includes but is not limited to: sewing, painting and scrapbooking. Learn from one another and enjoy each other’s company.

New Basic Jewelry 101
2nd Friday of the month from 9am to 11am
Come explore the art of jewelry making, ranging from bracelets to necklaces. Participants will learn to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces at these monthly classes. All material included in the $10 fee.

NEW Tracing Your Past
4th Friday of the month from 9am to 11am
How far back can trace your ancestry? Join us as we set you on the right track to discovering your family history. Pre-register at the front desk.

NEW Beginner’s Ukulele
Friday’s from 1pm to 1:30pm
Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument? Come join staff and learn how to play songs on the Ukulele. The Ukulele is fun and easy to play. Display your musical talents at the senior center.
