Tracy Parks and Community Services Department Temporarily RelocatesPosted: May 16, 2011
(TRACY, CA) – Effective May 23, 2011 the Parks and Community Services (PCS) Department located at 400 East 10th Street will be temporarily relocating to City Hall at 333 Civic Center Plaza due to scheduled building repairs. The air-conditioning system in the building has not operated correctly for an extended period of time; as such staff must relocate while the system is replaced.
Construction is scheduled to begin in July with an expected completion date of October, 2011.
Parks Director, Rod Buchanan states, “Our goal is to have the least amount of disruption to our customers while continuing to provide exceptional customer service to the community during our summer season”.
Registration for recreation programs and swim lessons will continue to take place on-line at www.tracyartsandrec.com and in person at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts Box Office at 715 Central Avenue. All other PCS business and facility rentals will be conducted at the Developing and Engineering Services Department located on the first floor of City Hall. The Parks and Community Services Department will have a separate customer service station at the front counter. All published office phone numbers will remain the same.
