City Of Tracy Invites Residents To Participate In Online Commuter SurveyPosted: Jun 24, 2011
(TRACY, CA) - The City of Tracy is conducting an online survey for Tracy residents who commute to the Bay area for employment. This survey is part of an ongoing process within the City of Tracy to maximize the number of high-quality jobs in the city while also reducing the need for residents to travel outside the community for work. The goal of the survey is to seek information regarding what industries and which companies residents are currently employed. Discerning this information gives City staff the leverage and the ability to find synergy within industries or companies, giving Tracy an advantage in recruiting those industries/companies to Tracy and adding them to our economic development strategy as targeted industries.
Economic Development Director, Ursula Luna-Reynosa, commented, “The City of Tracy is committed to bringing high quality jobs to Tracy. We want our residents to have the choice to live, work, shop and play in Tracy. We hope the community will participate with us in this endeavor and completing the survey is one step in that partnership.”
All responses are kept strictly confidential, and any information made public from these interviews will not reveal facts about any one person. The survey has 18 questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
