A City of Tracy Business License tax certificate will be issued once paid in full .As part of this license, if you prepare, sell, or serve food, you should contact the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department at (209) 468-3420. Once your business license tax certificate has been issued, your business may be reported to other regulatory agencies.
Please note: A business License tax certificate does not permit a business that is otherwise prohibited. A certificate does not entitle the holder to conduct business before complying with all requirements of the Tracy Municipal code and other applicable laws, nor to conduct business in a zone where conducting such business violates law.
