Fire Extinguisher Classes

Portable fire extinguishers can save lives and property by containing or extinguishing small fires. Residents of the Tracy area are invited to participate in free hands-on fire extinguisher training. Participants will learn the "PASS system" and have the opportunity to put out a real fire.

Corporate / Group Fire Extinguisher Training

The Fire Department can also train your employees or group in the proper use of fire extinguishers. We can bring the classroom portion and hands-on-training to your location.

Proper Disposal of a Fire Extinguisher

If you have a fire extinguisher that has been used or has expired you can dispose of the extinguisher by dropping it off the San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Center in Stockton. The Fire District does not refill or dispose of used fire extinguishers.
