The Recreation Division offers a variety of enrichment programs for teens in the areas of Safety, Special Interest, On-Campus programs and Summer Day Camps. These programs provide a safe, fun, and structured atmosphere that fosters human development and education.
PSAT/SAT Prep Course:
ZAPS seminars are designed for college-bound students of all ability levels. Several data analysis reports have shown that ZAPS seminars raise ACT scores by 1 to 4 points and SAT by 50 to 150 points. Ultimately, each student’s score increase will depend on how much time and effort he or she puts into practicing and applying the ZAPS techniques.

Animation Creators: 3D Animation:
In Freshi Media’s exciting 3D Animation Class, students will use Blender Software to learn how to create short 3D Animations using primary objects (cubes, spheres and cylinders). Once they are familiar with the animation process, students will dive into 3D Modeling, which includes creating geometric faces, vertices, and edges. They will also learn how to create their own basic 3D Creature.
March 19- May 7 from 3:30pm to 4:45pm at Tracy Transit Station Rm 103
Debates Spring Break Camp:
This camp teaches 5th through 8th graders the essentials of debating. The students learn how to make strong arguments, rebuttals and practice note-taking. This course helps build reasoning, finding and weighing pros, cons, and evidence- which will all use critical thinking! It will introduce various popular debate formats used in high schools.
