Leaf Pick Up & Holiday Tree Recycling
Leaf Pick Up
The Fall and Winter leaf pick up season officially begins the week of Thanksgiving and will continue through the first week of January. Leaves that fall in late October and early November are to be placed in your yard waste toter. When the program begins we ask that you continue to fill your yard waste toters and place it at the curb on your scheduled yard waste day. When your yard waste toter is full any excess leaves that did not fit can be swept into a pile in the street, leaving the gutter clear so water can flow. Tracy Disposal will pick up the piles of leaves on your regular garbage collection day. If your leaves have not been picked up by the end of the week, please contact Tracy Disposal at (209) 835-0601 or Public Works at (209) 831-6300. For those areas of Tracy with small trees, and thus a smaller quantity of leaves, we ask that these leaves be placed in your yard waste toter not in the street.
When the program ends if you still have leaves, place them in your yard waste toter not in the street as they will not be picked up. To make arrangements and for fees to have extra bags of yard waste placed at the curb, please contact Tracy Disposal.
Holiday Tree Recycling
Trees will be picked up curbside beginning December 26th through January 11th on your regular collection day. No flocking, tinsel, ornaments, nails, or stands accepted.
